Running from a relationship that lasted way too long, Dana Ann Smith leaves her native New York City and strikes out for Los Angeles -- the perfect place, she thinks, to start over. When she meets Vincent Calvary Browne Jr., he seems like a dream come true: handsome, hardworking, and sexy in a strong, silent kind of way. But that silence also means he's not letting Dana in on a few important facts about his life.
