About this book
The tsunami of December 26, 2004 shocked the world. The reality of the loss of life, suffering and devestaion affected us all. In a beautiful beach area called Unawatuna, the local school had been destroyed, with only one remaining wall -- and on that wall were four pictures that survived the tsunami. From those pictures, an idea formed. The children who were at that school were located and asked to draw what had happened in their lives over the previous month...the month of the tsunami and its aftermath. This artwork resulted in a remarkable and beautiful book. All profits from this book were donated to tsunami-affected schools whose children contributed to the book.
